Notes of interest:

1). Michael Douglas, age 13, got 2^nd on hour 6 with just 15 seconds to spare!

2). Denver Collison caught the biggest fish, a Carp 21.6#. This was also a lucky hit worth about $260 but he gambled on taking 1^st on hour 2 – and won! $348 (also just missed Carp board 21.7-21.8 for ~$800!). Go Denver!

3). Daniel Moss had a brain lapse with his poles too far apart for hour one and his 13.6# was disqualified, almost losing $435! But, with 10 minutes left, he caught a 12.4# and took first anyway! Good sportsmanship Daniel and nice hit.

4). Remnants of Hurricane Ike blew in on hours 5 thru 7 but everyone hung tough. Wind and rain, fish didn’t mind!

5). The back lake (carp lake) was getting beat but Zack Lane swept the big last-hour money. He only caught two fish all day and those were 1^st and 2^nd on hour 8, winning $608 from the carp lake!!
